How to use the strategy

Only enter when ADX ≥ 25 to avoid choppy markets. Follow the Supertrend color-change signal.

How it works

Supertrend gives the direction-change signal, while ADX acts as a gate: only when ADX passes the threshold, meaning the trend is strong enough, is the signal taken. The filter exists to skip choppy market periods.

What each parameter means

ST_PERIOD 10: The Supertrend calculation period. Shorter means faster color changes and more signals.
ST_MULT 3: The range multiplier. The larger it is, the further the Supertrend line sits from price and the fewer false signals.
ADX_MIN 25: The minimum trend strength threshold. Below it, the system stays out.

Common mistakes
